The Cappadocian Throne
这条信息可能已不适合当前版本,最后更新于1.5。 |
Years ago the Macedonian general Eumenes took over the kingdom of Cappadocia from its native dynast, the Persian Satrap Ariarathes I. Since that time Ariarathes heir and nephew, also named Ariarathes, has been in our custody.
Eumenes has since died and left Cappadocia to Antigonos of Phrygia, who has placed the region under the control of the Macedonian Satrap Amyntas. Amyntas now stands alone and forgotten as Antigonos battle the other successor kingdoms in Egypt and Mesopotamia.
Has the time come to send Ariarathes back to Cappadocia?

An excellent idea!
Let us not anger Amyntas.

Return of the King

Word has reached us that the heir of old king Ariarathes, Ariarathes II, is marching on our capital, with support fromt he nearby kingdom of Armenia.
Far from his native land, Amyntas has never been a popular ruler of Cappadocia. While we may rely on the support of our Macedonian nobles it is likely that any native Cappadocians will take these news very badly.

Revolt in Cappadocia!
这条信息可能已不适合当前版本,最后更新于1.5。 |
Word has reached us that our Satrap in Cappadocia, Amyntas, has been overthrown. The heir to the old Persian Satrap, Ariarathes, has returned, taking control over the entire region.
With things being what they are in regards to the other Macedonian successor kingdoms, it is not clear if we can afford to strike against our former subject state in Cappadocia.

Growth of Eruandashat
这条信息可能已不适合当前版本,最后更新于1.5。 |
Our capital Armaouira has been experiencing a series of droughts in recent years. Our advisors believe that it is due to the recent change in the course of the Araxes river. Our great [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRulerTitle], [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRuler.GetName], wishes to move our capital west, to a raised position along the Araxes, and build a city near the village of Eruandashat. Our advisors warn that this is a massive undertaking, but [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRuler.GetPraenomen] points out that a city without a water supply cannot survive in the long run.

The Jewel of Armenia
这条信息可能已不适合当前版本,最后更新于1.5。 |
Our glorious capital, Eruandashat, has outgrown its location. The woodland hills make expansion difficult compared to the flat plains of our old capital Armaouira. Moving the capital back to Armaouira is not a solution, but our glorious [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRulerTitle], [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRuler.GetName], has his eyes set on Artaxata. Surrounded by fertile plains, and with access to fish from Lake Sevan, the site would be perfect for a thriving metropolis. [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRuler.GetSheHe

Fortify the Mountain Passes
这条信息可能已不适合当前版本,最后更新于1.5。 |
The Seleukid Empire, that melting-pot of Greek decadence to the south, has reared its ugly head and it is clear that they wish to sink their teeth into our beautiful kingdom. [ROOT.GetCountry.GetRuler.GetPraenomen] has requested that we begin extensive renovations of the defenses on our southern border, to close off the mountain passes through which the Seleukids could enter into the fertile Armenian heartlands behind them. There are some voices in our court, however, that argue that we should trust in our armies, and not our walls.
